Hey there, I’m Amy, the proud owner of Bark & Bath Boutique! When it comes to dogs and animals, my passion has been with me since I took my first steps. I have two adorable spaniels named Luna and Charlie, who I adore with all my heart. They’re like my furry children!

My journey in the animal world began as a veterinary nurse assistant at a local veterinary surgery. But I didn’t stop there—I decided to pursue grooming as well. I dedicated myself to training and qualifying in the field, and let me tell you, I haven’t regretted it for a second. In fact, in 2023, I took a leap of faith and established my own business, right in the comfort of my peaceful and cozy home salon in Midhurst.

Oh, and guess what? In May 2023, I participated in my first competition and guess what? I won an award! in 2024 I came 2nd in salon groomer of the year competition and my most recent award was won at The grooming show in January 2025 and I came 1st! It’s an achievement that fills me with immense pride, and I’m definitely planning to continue participating in such events.

We have an 11 week old cockapoo pup and we were keen as soon as her vaccinations were done, for her to have a groom to get her used to it. I posted on a community board looking for some recommendations and Bark & Bath came up a few times. Amy also messaged to introduced herself which I’m so glad she did because we couldn’t have been happier with her service. Not only does her service offer a lot more involved but it’s also around the same price as other groomers in the area. I have no reservations of leaving our pup there. It took around 45 mins and our pup even fell asleep on Amy which shows how comfortable she was with her! Our pup looked absolutely amazing, would hugely recommend. We will be recurring customers!

Our little Cockapoo puppy ‘Wookiee’ had her first visit to Amy at Bark & Bath today and we are all extremely happy.
Wookiee happily went in with Amy without a problem on her own and indulged in a ‘puppy pamper’ which she adored. She emerged as a very content, gorgeous fluff ball.

Amy groomed my standard poodle last week and what stood out most was her way with him. He can be shy with new people the first time he meets them but was relaxed going in with Amy and seemed happy and relaxed when I picked him up. He looks lovely and would definitely recommend the friendly, caring and professional service Amy provided.

Amy did a fantastic job with my anxious English Springer. She was calm, kind, polite and professional and said that my dog had been really good. Amy asked what it was I wanted her to do and checked in with my via text through the process. Looking st Bonnie, she has been well clipped, woth no nicks, shaving rash or skin irritations (which I have experienced with other groomers). I am REALLY pleased with Amy's service and Bonnie and I will be returning for future grooms.

It was my dogs first trip to Bark and Bath today. She looks beautiful and seems very happy after her groom. Amy was friendly and listened to my wishes for my dogs groom, she clearly loves dogs and I felt mine was very well looked after. I will be rebooking!

Our crazy spaniel Benji had the best day at Bark and Bath Boutique! We were always a bit hesitant to leave him especially with someone new but Amy was amazing with him and sent us regular updates throughout the day. When we finally got home to him, Benji was exhausted from his day of treats and play and was still pretty tired the next day!

Amy did our puppy’s first haircut and I couldn’t be happier. She is the most patient, understanding and caring person and has been amazing with my needs as well as my puppy’s!! I can’t recommend her highly enough- we are already looking forward to the next groom.

I took my dog (Sproodle) to Amy for the first time and was so pleased with the results. Communicating with her before was really easy and the cut is fantastic. He looked and smelt amazing. We have received so many compliments on him. Would highly recommend this thoroughly professional dog groomer.
